It does not matter whether you are young or old, in good health or bad health, rich or poor, single or married, non-Christian or Christian, you can still have a good, healthy, balanced self-caring lifestyle. It all depends on the style of life you choose. Is your current lifestyle working for you? Are you spending too much time in one area and not enough time in other areas of your life?

A balanced lifestyle requires occasional self-assessment and re-evaluation of your life. As we get older, our lifestyle tends to change; for example, major life changes such as marriage, sickness or changes in our work situation can bring about lifestyle changes. Once a reasonably balanced lifestyle is in place, however, then your attention should go toward the maintenance of that balance at least until it becomes a part of your regular routine. Don’t forget that the ultimate goal is self-care!
